The developers of the residential project Aquablu, located on the shores of RiviŤre-des-Prairies in Sainte-Dorothťe, Laval, hosted a ground breaking ceremony today with distinguished guests including the hockey legend Guy Lafleur, the Mayor of Laval, Laval City Councillors, and major investment partners.

Located on the shores of RiviŤre-des-Prairies in Laval, Aquablu 2 is the second tower of a residential project, which includes ultra-luxurious tower condos, riverfront villas, executive suites and a penthouse. The $250 million project completed construction of the now sold out Phase 1 last fall.

In addition to contribute to the cityís economy and development, Aquablu is also present in the community: since 2015, the residential project has been an official partner of the Citť de la Santť Foundation. To highlight their ongoing support and collaboration, M. Garabedian has presented an amount of $5,000 on behalf of Aquablu to the Foundation, represented by its Director General, Mr. Andrť Malacket.

Waterfront Ultra-Luxury: Aquablu

Aquablu is located in a prestigious residential area neighbouring Le Domaine des Berges, another exclusive area developed by the same promoter.

The realization of this project holds many benefits for local residents: first it provides easy access to the water which did not exist before and it is an integral link to the Oka-Ste- Hilaire multi-purpose path. Pedestrian walkways link the neighboring streets to provide a safe and easy access. A new park and rest area will be added as well. A complete offering of retail and commercial activities are a kilometer away at the mega-centre. The airport is 10 minutes and downtown Montreal 20 minutes away from the site with easy access to Highway 13.

Aquablu residents have premium luxury amenities, including an existing heated outdoor swimming pool, hot tub, outdoor lounge area with private cabanas, an indoor pool and hot tub, sauna and fitness center equipped with the latest training equipment, 24-hour concierge service, heated indoor garage with available enclosed private parking spaces, and private boat slips. All outdoor amenities sit atop a 20,000 sq ft terrace overlooking the river plus a 3,000 sq ft sunset terrace on the western extremity of the project.

Phase 2

Phase 2 adds a new element to Aquablu called The Cube: a fully glass-enclosed three- story ground level structure with panoramic water views. Its ground floor will house a recreation area offering amenities such as a golf simulator, billiard table, and wine tasting room. A social lounge will be built on the second floor, while the third floor will offer residents a serene and open space for a Yoga and Pilates studio. A second outdoor pool and hot tub will be added to the expanded terrace, connected to The Cube and Phase 1.

Some of the brands that are offered with Phase 2 units include: Poggenpohl kitchen cabinetry, Bosch / Gaggenau appliances, Toto toilets, and Bertolotto Italian doors.

The available unitsí size varies between 880 square feet to 1950 square feet with executive and penthouses that go as high as 5,000 square feet and waterfront villas at 1,350 square feet to 1,900 square feet (with a balcony and a terrace on the ground floor). Prices per square foot vary with location and finishing level, starting at approximately $400/sq ft.
