When summer finally comes around, we tend to stray from our routine and enjoy the good weather. Here are four ways to get around without any hassles, with or without the kids!

From May 1 to October 31: bike + bus
It’s time to pick up some good habits (again) by incorporating biking into your daily trips! If you need to cover greater distances, use the bike racks available on all our buses to combine bike and bus. The bike racks are easy to use and accessible every day, from dawn to dusk, i.e., before and after darkness prevents the drivers from clearly seeing you place your bike on the rack. Familiarize yourself on how to use the Cyclobus service by watching the video available on STLaval.ca.

Summer discount for riders aged 12 to 17 withthe Xtra pass
Is your teen yearning for freedom? Want them to go to the pool or park by themself? Get peace of mind during their summer vacation (July + August) for just $71. Yes, you read that right, the second month only works out to $8 instead of $63 (that’s a 83% discount!). Ask to load the Xtra pass on an OPUS card with photo ID, for riders aged 12 to 17, available from June 20 to July 19.

7 days a week all summer:take the 360, our free bus route
From June 24 to August 26, the 360 shuttle will be running every day. As an extension of the metro’s orange line, it makes a loop between the Montmorency metro station and the Le Carrefour terminus, passing by various shopping centres, tourist attractions and hotels along the way. Free for all at all times. Departures every 20 minutes from Montmorency terminus at platform no. 8. Also running year long on weekends, statutory holidays, during the holiday season and March break.

Kids ride for free–throughout the year
Laval is chock-full of activities all year long! Avoid the stress of driving and finding parking by having the family take the bus instead: up to five children aged 11 and under can ride for free with an adult who has a valid fare. Take advantage of it!!
