In a fast-changing world, Grade 12 at the Sacred Heart School of Montreal offers young women a chance to fast track their careers and opens up opportunities for them around the world.

Grade 12 at Sacred Heart is a one-year program providing female students with a unique opportunity to obtain an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) in the heart of Downtown Montreal. With an OSSD in-hand, students can apply to universities in Quebec, Canada, and abroad.

Our school partners with OVS (Ontario Virtual School – Accredited by the Ontario Ministry of Education), to provide a rich online curriculum in conjunction with scheduled physical classes taught by qualified and certified teachers. Students will immerse themselves in an online learning program while being supported by classroom teachers who are designing instruction, learning activities, and providing quality feedback on all of their work.

Personalized Academic Counselling
Academic counselling is a key feature of our program as students will have unlimited access to coaching, mentoring, subject support, and university and career planning. Students will have access to orientation meetings, university preparation workshops, opportunities to meet advisors from universities, a variety of school fairs and have a supportive mentor and coach for coursework and academic planning.

Blended Learning
The Grade 12 program supports quality online instruction with physical classes taught by qualified teachers. Students are supported throughout every step of their online courses. Content and topics are taught, reviewed, discussed and brought to life in a physical classroom environment.

Field Experience
In conjunction with their courses, students will participate in a field placement where they are paired with a professional in their area of interest. Where possible, this person will be a Sacred Heart alumna. This rich opportunity gives students a deeper understanding of a variety of fields, careers and disciplines while obtaining hands-on experience and networking opportunities.

Studying in Quebec or Abroad
The Sacred Heart Grade 12 program prepares students – in one year – to apply to universities in Quebec, Canada, the USA, or abroad. The OSSD is internationally recognized. Unlike Grade 12 programs of the past, with the new Grade 12, students can stay in Quebec and apply directly to McGill, Concordia, etc. For those planning to study in the US, Sacred Heart has partnered with Monarch Tutoring for a variety of services including SAT prep, ACT prep, and US college application submissions.
