The warm weather upon us brings many exciting new events to our city, and plenty of activities to explore. Being the progressive city that it is, Laval has plenty of major announcements for its citizens in the short and long term.

Our Front Cover Articles
The city of Laval is now officially considered the first inclusive city in Quebec, with an amazing new partnership with Giant Steps School to improve all aspects of community life for those with autism and other challenges.

What’s more, on June 12th, the Laval Police and the city of Laval are partnering up with the Quebec Special Olympics for a ground-breaking fundraising event consisting of a giant obstacle course set up at Centre de la Nature. Teams made up of Laval police officers, first responders and Special Olympics athletes will race to the finish line in a friendly competition, all in the spirit of collaboration and inclusion.

Canada Day Festivities
Celebrate Greek culture along with traditional Canada Day activities, as the 2016 Hellenic Summer Festival of Laval, hosted by the Hellenic Community of Greater Montreal (HCGM), takes place from July 1st to the 3rd. Read about what you can expect on page 44.

STL New 360 Bus Route
Getting around to see Laval’s main attractions has never been easier, now that the STL has launched the new 360 bus route, linking the Montmorency Metro Station to all major hotels and fun destinations! With departures every 20 minutes and service seven days a week during the summer period, everyone can be out and about enjoying the best our city has to offer.
