Ubisoft’s first indoor amusement center opened its doors in Pointe-Claire in the summer of 2016, offering a totally unique experience.  This year, the center is celebrating its first anniversary with the launch of a brand-new Nintendo Switch game; Mario + Rabbids; Kindom Battle.

Located about 20 minutes from Laval, the amusement center has its own popular cartoon characters that give the center another unique edge; the Rabbids are fun-loving, silly, and charming little rabbits that get into all sorts of mischief. The center has something for the whole family, even though the target market for most of the activities is children 10-12 years old. Ubisoft focuses on three main elements in the activities offered on site; technology, creativity and physical activity.

On site, there are various obstacle courses and educational activities such as The Submarine, The Water Treatment Plant, The Laboratory, The Virtual Reality Zone and The Garden. The submarine is an obstacle course with a labyrinth and slides. Through the submarine we can access the water treatment center that includes a giant ball pit with ball canons, and interactive all and a wall-climbing adventure.

The fun continues into The Laboratory, with an interactive drawing table, a giant construction block, and new activities introduced monthly, all designed to inspire creativity in children. Next up, children can visit The Virtual Reality Zone, featuring D-Box chairs and HTC Vive helmets. Patrons can dive into the universe of the Rabbids for an ‘out of this world’ experience.

For the little ones, the center offers The Garden, designed for 0-3-year-olds to have fun with the Rabbids too.  This space features a softer floor to crawl on with toys and games, all in a more relaxed and secure atmosphere.

In keeping with the center’s cutting-edge technology theme, safety and security are also at the forefront throughout the entire center. When you arrive, all family members receive a “connected bracelet”. These bracelets track the entrance and exit of the whole family. What’s more, children 3-12 years old can even use the bracelets to complete missions and help the Rabbids!

The Rabbids Amusement Center is perfect for birthday parties and school outings. There are three themed rooms for parties and six different party packages available.

Families can take advantage of the unlimited annual pass offered. With the center’s constantly updated obstacle courses and activities, there could be something new to discover each time you visit! Children can even collect points from their visits which can be used in exchange for items in the shop or restaurant area.

A visit to the center can be great fun for the whole family – a must-do activity to plan this year!
